
Mother's Day Breakfast Ideas

Dad's are you wanting to make something for your partner/wife for breakfast?
Who doesn't love toast/pancakes? Even better this new pancake recipe is sugar free and is pink! Suitable for the all the family! This may become the new family favourite!
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Get the whole family involved, children can help pick and wash the fruit, make the pancake mixture and decorate them! This is a great way to encourage food acceptance as well. This can be a great family bonding breakfast that is also healthy!
Ingredients for flavoured flower pot toast :
Strawberries
Celery
Raspberry/Strawberry yoghurt
1-2 slices of toast
Ingredients for toast mums:
Fruit e.g. kiwi/banana & blueberries for eyes, banana/pomegranate for hair, strawberry/raspberry for lips
1-2 slices of toast
Ingredients for pink pancakes:
Fruit
140g plain flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2-1 tsp beetroot powder
225mls milk/milk alternative
Top tip: use tsp for mini pancakes & tspn for older ones!

Method for pancakes:
Wash & prep fruit.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and vanilla extract into a bowl.
Gradually incorporate the egg/egg replacer into the flour with a whisk/fork and then add in the milk/milk substitute gradually until all combined.
Lightly grease a frying pan with oil or butter and heat until very hot.
Pour sufficient batter into pan until it coats the base.
Cook until set and golden.
Flip and cook other side.
Be creative can use moulds!

Allergens: Milk (can use plant milk), gluten (you can use gluten free toast and flour), egg (can use egg replacer instead)
